Donald L. Durbin

Donald L. Durbin is a long-standing member of The American Board for Certification in Homeland Security (ABCHS), achieving CHS-V status. He possesses several degrees and certificates, including a JD from LaSalle University and a Masters degree in criminal justice from Chicago State University. Mr. Durbin currently works as a part-time police officer for the Richmond and Hebron police departments located in Illinois. He also teaches classes through Corinthian Colleges, Inc. (Everest University Online) and Argosy University.

Mr. Durbin retired from the position of special agent of the Illinois State Police in 2003 after serving full-time for 23 years. Before this, he served in the Missouri and Illinois Air National Guard for six years, from which he was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant. Durbin has also worked or volunteered at several jobs involving police and rescue, including as a paramedic volunteer for the Harvard, IL Rescue Squad. In addition to ABCHS, Donald Durbin is also a member of The American College of Forensic Examiners Institute (ACFEI), The Midwest Gang Crime Officers Association, the U.S. Air For Security Police Association, and many more fine associations.
