Currently, he is Business Manager, Security Services with Data craft in Singapore with responsibility for the Guidance Software/Data craft relationship throughout Asia. Previously he has been the Information Security and Business Continuity national service leader for KPMG in New Zealand, Information Security Director for salesforce.com in San Francisco, Director of IT and Operations at Grassroots Enterprise, and Manager of Information Systems at Intuitive Surgical.
Eric has an MBA and holds the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIPP, CHS-III, SCF, and COBIT Foundation Certificate. His articles have been published in Computerworld, SC Magazine, Technology & Learning magazine, School CIO, and Windows NT Systems magazine.
Eric is sought after as a speaker and trainer. Over the past couple years he developed a two-day "Data Security Essentials" training course as well as a two-day "Cloud Computing" training course delivered internationally and has spoken at conferences in the United States, Asia, and New Zealand, including the National Conference of the American board for Certification in Homeland Security, Computer World's Utility Computing Briefing, the New Zealand IIA National Conference in Wellington, the Information and IT Security Summit in Auckland, and the Cloud Computing Summit (Chair and Speaker), Business Intelligence Summit, and Datacenter Summit also in Auckland.
