Robert J. Coullahan is the President and Chief Operating Officer for Readiness Resource Group, Inc. (www.readinessresource.net), a veteran-owned small business serving national security and emergency preparedness programs. Board-certified in emergency management, business continuity management and security management, Mr. Coullahan served over a 25-year period at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), where he earned the appointment of Senior Vice President and Operations Manager for Homeland Security Support.
Mr. Coullahan also served five years as Vice President and Director of Government & International Programs for an award-winning federally-funded university consortium based in Washington, D.C. The consortium was designated the World Data Center-A for Human Interactions in the Environment based on a rigorous scientific peer-review. He has been a certified emergency medical technician (EMT) and served nine (9) years of active and reserve duty in the United States Army.
His work at the nexus of interagency, intergovernmental, and interdisciplinary collaboration includes leadership roles as Program Manager, National Incident Management System (NIMS) Support Center; Director, Crisis Management Development Center supporting international emergency management programs; and Program Manager of the White House Y2K National Information Coordination Center. His diverse 35 years of C4I and emergency management experience has been applied to priority policy and operational needs at the epicenter of public-private information sharing, preparedness, and infrastructure protection.
Mr. Coullahan holds the M.A. in Security Management (Forensic Sciences) and an M.S. in Telecommunications from The George Washington University, and a B.A. from the University of California.
