Dr. Cecelia Wright Brown is an Assistant Professor in the School of Information Arts & Technology at the University of Baltimore and, President of BEE Engineering Consulting, LLC. She graduated from Morgan State University with both a Doctorate of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, concentrations infrastructure and transportation and, a Master of Science in Science degree with a concentration in Physics.
Her career path has included a variety of experiences including being the former Chief Engineer for a Mission and Conference Center, a Consulting Engineer with A. Goldberger Control, a Field Engineer for Square D Company, a Patent Examiner and a Research Physicist for the U.S. Army. Dr. Wright Brown has developed and implemented curriculum in Homeland Security, Critical Infrastructure and Information Assurance domestically and internationally. She has conducted workshops, facilitated courses and presented before government officials in Port au Prince, Haiti on the topic of "Enterprise Resource Planning & Development Role in Decentralization and Civil Reform Programs." Dr. Wright Brown is an active member of a number of technical organizations, honor societies and professional partnerships. She continues to publish technical periodicals, mentor students and write grants in science, technology engineering and mathematics.
